I built it because rewriting a resume for every job posting is tedious. Most people skip it, then send the same file to every listing. That is the part of a job search that wears you down. I wanted something that did the matching automatically so the actual applying felt less exhausting. Paste the posting, review each rewritten section, export a PDF or Word file, and track the application in one list. The goal was never to write the resume for you. It was to take the repetitive matching off the table so you could spend the time on the jobs that matter.

I am a software engineer. I build tools I actually use. TailorSwan started as a tool for my own applications, then grew into a product other people could sign into.
