Is TailorSwan free?

Yes. You can create an account and use the product without paying. No credit card is required to start.

What does TailorSwan do?

You paste a job posting. We rewrite each section of your resume against it. You approve, skip, or redo every block, then export a PDF or Word file and track the application.

Will this make my resume pass an ATS?

We export a clean PDF or Word file with a simple layout. We do not certify pass rates or call the file ATS-proof. Whether software parses it depends on the employer system.

Do you invent skills I do not have?

No. We only rewrite what is already on your resume. The workshop flags content that looks made up so you can remove it.

Are the contact emails verified?

No. When we find people at the company, each email has a confidence score. Treat that as a hint, not a guarantee the address is valid.

What data do you store?

Your account, the resumes and job text you enter, and the applications you track. We send text to AI providers to draft rewrites. We do not sell your data.

Is there a Chrome extension?

Yes. It sits on the posting page so you can fill forms from your resume or open TailorSwan in a side panel. It works on LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, Workday, and other common boards.

What files can I export?

A resume as PDF or Word, in Traditional or Classic. You can also copy a cover letter draft from the same job.
