These are the ground rules for using TailorSwan. By signing in or using the site, you agree to them.

What the service is

TailorSwan helps you rewrite your resume against a job posting, export a file, and track applications. It is not a job board, not an applicant tracking system, and it does not apply to jobs for you.

Your account

You sign in with Google and you are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 16.

What you submit

You keep ownership of your resume and everything else you put in. You let TailorSwan store and process it to run the service for you, including sending the text needed for a task to the AI and lookup providers listed in the privacy policy. Only submit information you have the right to use.

Check the output

AI makes mistakes. Review every rewritten section before you send a resume to anyone. You decide what goes into the file. Contact emails come with a confidence score, and that score is not a promise the address works. Nothing here is a promise of interviews, rankings, or that an applicant tracking system will accept a file.

Acceptable use

Do not use TailorSwan to break the law, to put false claims on a resume you send out, to send spam, to scrape or overload the service, or to get into other people's accounts. I may suspend an account that does.

Availability and changes

TailorSwan is run by one person and is provided as it is, with no promise that it will always be available or free of bugs. Features and limits can change. It is free to start today, and if that ever changes I will say so before it affects your saved work.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, TailorSwan and its maker are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including a missed job or interview. Keep your own copy of anything important. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that cannot be waived.

Ending your account

You can stop using TailorSwan any time and ask for your account to be deleted through the contact page.

Changes to these terms

If I change these terms I will update this page and its date. Continuing to use TailorSwan after a change means you accept it.
